As a member of the McDonald's family of mascots, Grimace is a gigantic gumdrop-like monster that is purple in color and serves as Ronald McDonald's closest companion. In spite of his moniker, he is typically portrayed as cheerful, despite the fact that he is somewhat dim-witted.
