Astrocreep gives a description.

Astrocreep is a point-and-click adventure game that is both interactive and limited in length. A theme based on science fiction horror in which you play the part of an extraterrestrial being and assist it in developing its way through the various chambers and constructing a nest in order to completely infest the entire space station!

You begin as a simple parasite that evolves with each successful kill, and then you choose which branch of evolution you want to pursue: the telekinetic space octopus or the acid-spitting cosmic squid!
