Steel Wool Studios and Scott Cawthon are jointly responsible for the development of the virtual reality survival horror video game Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, which was released in 2019. The game is a collection of several minigames that are based on the Five Nights at Freddy's series. The objective of the game is for the player to perform chores without getting frightened by mechanical creatures that are dedicated to killing. The minigames include versions of the main games in the series that have been adapted for virtual reality, in addition to a number of new experiences. The player will find coins and cassette tapes buried within the stages. These coins will allow the player to unlock collecting objects and cassette tapes will provide insight into the metafictional plot of the game.
Help Wanted is a survival horror game that takes place in virtual reality. This collection of minigames is a collection of different minigames in which the player must complete chores without being captured and jumpscared by animatronic characters that are murderous creatures.A number of new experiences that are exclusive to Help Wanted are included in these minigames. These minigames contain gameplay recreations of the main games in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, chronologically beginning with the first game and including Sister Location.The majority of the minigames include security cameras that are used to monitor the animatronics, in addition to other equipment that are designed to prevent the player from being captured by these characters. The player has access to a variety of tools, such as steel doors, lights, and a mask that enables them to evade notice. In the event that a player fails to win one of the minigames, they will be jumpscared and the game will be restarted.
